Miki was born in communist Yugoslavia (Zadar, Croatia) in 1970. When he came to
Carinthia, Austria in 1979 he was sent to school without speaking a single word German. This was a very hard time for him! When one day his stepfather took him to an ice hockey match he was so fascinated by this sport that he started to play hockey himself. Within a couple of years he became one of the top goal keepers (3rd Austrian League). Just before becoming a professional he suffered a terrible
fate. In August 1988 Miki was seriously injured in a traffic accident. But this could not keep him from using his talent to forge ahead. In 1991 he and Örnie Glanzer formed the legendary band E.K.V (Erste Kärntner Volksverblödung). Until 1995 they had filled countless clubs, tents and halls. At that time mixing Trash and Heavy Metal with cabaret was something completely new in
Carinthia. Quotation Miki: “The music business is really tough! Enviousness is a common thing – I’ll fight on” It is not surprising that during all those years Miki got to know a lot of music maniacs like him in Europe and in the USA. Werner Rauscher Like many other kids he started to play accordion when he was six years old. At the age of eight he had already performed on various occasions. Since the early 70s he is into Blues and Rock music. During the 70s he was the drummer of various bands. He played with Gerd Schuller (“Attack” now) and Hubert Waldner (“Hypersax”), among others. But then he fell in love with the guitar. In the late 80s he was the guitar player of “Conze” and “Eintopf” and played with Konrad Heinz (“Fliege wenn ich dich kriege”). During this time two CDs were produced. In the late 90s Werner was part of the band project “Just 4 Fun”.He performed live in Germany, Italy and Egypt. After that the group “Thunderstorm” was formed. And although Werner has been touring with the “No Stress Brothers” for two years now, he is still playing with “Thunderstorm”. |
